Forecast of billet prices from Russia on export markets in May

Translom analysts believe that in May 2025 prices for Russian square billets will adjust downward in a limited range. Weakening prices for raw materials and semi-finished products on the export market and strengthening of the ruble against the US dollar will put multidirectional pressure on quotations of Russian suppliers and contribute to limited supply.
