Samsung has abandoned Russian metals for displays

South Korean Samsung Display has stopped purchasing Russian gold, tungsten and tantalum, according to the company's reports. Japan expanded imports of non-ferrous metals from Russia

In April 2025, economic relations between Japan and Russia showed positive dynamics. Russia has increased supplies of copper, nickel, and aluminum to China
