On the implementation of the Russian Stainless Company project

Evgenia Zolotarskaya, Head of Marketing Department of Russian Stainless Company, in her speech at the conference “Iron & Steel Market of Central Asia and the Caucasus” in Tashkent, told about the progress of the project on construction of facilities for production of stainless flat rolled products (Volgograd region, Russia).

The first stage of the project will be realised in the 4th quarter of 2025, when the first products will be produced in the cold rolling shop. In 2026, the hot rolling shop will be put into operation, and in 2027 - its own electric-furnace melting shop.

The production capacity of the complex in 2027 will be 300,000 tonnes of flat stainless steel products, which will increase to 500,000 tonnes by 2030.

The complex will also include its own metal service centre, which will make it possible to offer the market stainless steel coils and sheets that meet international quality standards.

The company's products will be available for delivery to the Central Asian market. Moreover, in Uzbekistan all stainless steel products are imported. The main suppliers are China (96.4% of the total volume), Russia and Turkey.
