Russian aluminum exports to Brazil reach a three-year high
In the first five months of 2025, Russian aluminum shipments to Brazil grew 2.3 times year-on-year to $7.9 million. According to Brazilian customs data, this is the maximum figure since 2022.
The main supplier of aluminum to the Brazilian market remains China, which increased exports by a third - up to 254.8 million dollars. Argentina (+40%, up to 157.7 million dollars) and Paraguay (+70%, up to 58.1 million dollars) also supplied significant volumes of metal.
In addition to aluminum, Russia increased sales of titanium to Brazilian companies - exports grew 3.7 times, reaching $2.3 million (the maximum since 2020). Among the key suppliers of titanium to Brazil, Russian companies ranked sixth, behind the US ($16.1 million), Germany ($5.7 million), the UK ($4.5 million), China ($2.7 million) and France ($2.6 million).
