Russian companies will engage in lithium mining in Argentina

About 70 projects in the field of natural resources extraction are being prepared for launch in Argentina. Most of the projects with Russian participation are at the initial stages, including the approval of work permits (in the field of ecology and social sphere), after which the companies will begin to assess the viability of the projects, explained in the Embassy of Argentina in the Russian Federation.

Despite the fact that Russian companies are most interested in projects related to lithium mining, cooperation in the mining of other natural resources is not excluded, emphasized the Argentine embassy.

Together with Bolivia and Chile, Argentina is part of the so-called lithium triangle, where about 54% of the world's reserves of this metal are concentrated.
