Russian-Thai business dialogue launched at St. Petersburg International Economic Forum
On June 18, the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum started. 20,000 representatives from 140 countries confirmed their participation in the forum.
Russian-Thai cooperation covers a wide range of areas - from trade and investment to technology and tourism. Both countries are actively developing partnership within the BRICS framework, discussing the creation of a free trade zone between Thailand and the EAEU, and exploring the possibility of settlements in national currencies. Thailand is becoming an important logistics and financial window for Russia to Southeast Asia, opening up new prospects for business.
Ivan Demchenko, Chairman of the Board of Novostal-M Holding and Russian-Thai Business Council, and representatives of the Thai side discussed at a special session prospects for trade, investment, technology and tourism.
