Russian industry increased production of several copper products

Production of refined copper in January-June 2013 fell by 1.2% with compared to the similiar period of 2012.

The situation is similar with copper flat rollde products: foil output decreased by 13.9%, plates, sheets and strips - by 2.9%. However, copper wire production has increased by 6%, rods and profiles - by 7.5%.

Despite the mixed results of the first six month of 2013, Russia copper industry has a large basis of safety at current prices.
