Tashkent Welcomes the Opening of the 5th International Trade Fair

"On April 28, Uzbekistan hosted the opening of the anniversary edition of the International Trade Fair "INNOPROM. Central Asia". The event, having brought together representatives from 35 countries, including Russia, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Qazaqstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, China, Türkiye, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia, is being held at Tashkent’s brand-new business venue — CAEx Uzbekistan," shares Anton Atrashkin, Program Director of "INNOPROM. Central Asia".

Over the past five years, "INNOPROM. Central Asia" has become a key platform for showcasing advanced technologies and forging business partnerships across the Eurasian region.

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov, and Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Jamshid Khodjaev visited the collective exposition of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, as well as the booths of State Corporation Rostec, State Corporation Rosatom, JSC Transmashholding, JSC Russian Export Center, the Center for the Development of Advanced Technologies, collective booths representing several regions of Russia and Uzbekistan.

The business program of the Trade Fair featuring 21 events was launched by the main plenary session titled "Strategic Industrial Partnership in Central Asia: Integration through Advanced Technologies," with the participation of Denis Manturov and Jamshid Khodjaev.

Denis Manturov, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, particularly emphasized how industrial cooperation has become increasingly relevant in today’s unstable world, "What we can do is expand our horizons of cooperation in response to various global challenges."

"Today, more than 650 joint projects worth a total of $67 billion are being implemented across various sectors of our country's economy," noted Jamshid Khodjaev, Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan. The Russian exposition showcases flagship industrial companies presenting cutting-edge projects in mechanical engineering, metallurgy, energy, IT, smart city technologies, and light industry. Among the largest participants are KAMAZ, Rostec, Transneft, Rosatom, Transmashholding, Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works, Novostal-M, Kamensk-Uralsky Non-Ferrous Metal Working Plant, Krasny Oktyabr Corporation and others.

What’s more, there are 17 regions of the Russian Federation that are participating with their collective booths, marking the largest regional participation in the history of the Trade Fair.

The main and the most significant exhibition event of the year in Russia - the 31st International Industrial Exhibition "Metal-Expo'2025" - will be held on 11-14 November in St. Petersburg (Expoforum). Over 800 exhibitors and more than 30 thousand visitors are planned.
