Production achievements of Petrostal Metallurgical Plant owing to new equipment

At the beginning of this year, the rolling shop of the Petrostal Metallurgical Plant ceremoniously launched new centerless turning machines purchased from China. Today, interim results of their operation can already be summarized.

Operational commissioning of this equipment has allowed the plant not only to double production volumes but also to improve the quality of its output. It is now possible to machine the rolled products with a more precise tolerance (h11 grade) and stricter surface roughness requirements (Ra2.5). This enables the plant to significantly expand its sales market.

Svetlana Shmeleva, Deputy Sales Director of the Petrostal Metallurgical Plant, will deliver a report titled "Production and sales strategy of Petrostal Metallurgical Plant in 2025–2026: Progress in implementing the production modernization project" at the 11th International Conference "Stainless Steel and the Russian Market", taking place on April 10–11 in Saint Petersburg.

On the second day of the event, an excursion trip to the production facilities of the Petrostal Metallurgical Plant and UTK-Steel will be organized.
